The Magaek Council may be different, but dangers still lurk beyond every corner.
Now that our mate bond is complete, my mates and I are stronger than ever. And as the newest council members, my mates strive to undo all the damage caused by their predecessors—their fathers—starting with repairing tenuous ties with the other realms.
The return of the divine marks the beginning of the Magaek Council’s initiative to unite all of the realms. But when the divine don’t return as planned, the council fears they may have underestimated their ability to convince them that they can sustain peace amongst the realms. To earn back the trust of the divine, they must discover who is behind the attack to protect the student body. But things aren’t what they seem. Not everyone is on board with the new council members and are anticipating their immediate failure.
