Trans-Pecos Texas contains an amazing variety of well-exposed geological features. Virtually every mountain range is different. There is much to see, no matter what special interest a person might have within the broad realm of geology. The routes travelled and the stops planned will give the visitor a chance to sample much of this variety - albeit at a rapid pace. A return visit using one of the available comprehensive field trip guides will allow a more leisurely, detailed study of segment of the region.
